Notice to Our Customers: Customer Service Changes in Response to COVID-19 as of May 15, 2020
Barbour Creek, LLC continues to monitor reports of the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that Barbour Creek remains committed to delivering outstanding customer service. The safety and well-being of our staff, customers, and families is always our main priority. We greatly care about our communities and want to do our part to keep you healthy, keep our employees healthy and help minimize the spread of the virus. In that spirit, Barbour Creek will take reasonable steps to comply with guidelines on sanitation from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Alabama Department of Public Health in order to assist in the containment of the coronavirus and help protect us all. In general, classes will be decreased to 6 persons only and once per week to allow for heavy cleaning and decontamination throughout the facility and grounds, including, but not limited to the Lodging, Classroom, and Shoot House. Barbour Creek encourages Customers to: 1. Wear face coverings around people from other households; 2. Limit congregation in common areas and/or maintain 6 feet of separation; 3. Washing hands frequently with soap and water or hand sanitizer, especially after touching frequently used items or surfaces; 4. Refraining from touching one’s face; 5. Sneezing or coughing into a tissue, or the inside of one’s elbow; and 6. Disinfecting frequently – commonly used items, and surfaces in common areas as much as possible. Other Steps Being Implemented at Barbour Creek: Other steps we are taking to help prevent the spread of the virus include (i) minimizing the number of staff in our offices, (ii) requesting that all staff maintain six feet of separation, unless from the same household, (iii) limiting the occupancy to 50% of the normal occupancy throughout the grounds, and (iv) immediately and continuously disinfecting any equipment or apparatus used by a Customer. Staff is frequently disinfecting used items and surfaces. All Staff is directed to stay home if they or a family member are sick. Further measures are in place should Staff or a related family member be exposed or contract the virus. We ask that if you do not feel well, or are having flu like symptoms, to advise us as soon as possible, as Barbour Creek encourages you to consider rescheduling your visit! Refunds will be given in accordance with our policy. These steps are necessary to preserve the health of our staff and help curtail the spread of the virus while upholding our commitment to you, our Customers.
