Eddie Ingram

LEAD LAW ENFORCEMENT INSTRUCTOR

Chief F. E. Ingram (Ret.) is a 33-year veteran law enforcement officer who worked and was certified in Georgia, Florida and Alabama as a law enforcement officer and Police instructor.

He has had the privilege of serving as the Chief Deputy at Sheriff’s Offices in Georgia, Florida and Alabama. Chief Ingram also served as an Alabama Chief of Police prior to his retirement (due to injury) in mid-2013. He was credited with reducing the crime-rate within those counties and city by as much as 75% within the first 24 months of service.

In 2004 – Chosen as one of only a few-dozen men worldwide by the U.S. Department of Defense to select, train, and operate with Iraqi Civilian and Military SWAT Teams conducting classified missions in war-torn Iraq.
In 2006 – Selected by the U.S. Department of State and deployed to Afghanistan to provide personal security for the U.S. Ambassador and other Government VIP‘s. While in Afghanistan, he was also charged with the duties of training other American Operatives in Close Quarter Combat and Tactical Entry techniques.

He has personally instructed over 1,340 “Criminal Interdiction for Patrol Seminars”, “Basic/Advanced SWAT Schools”, “Tactical Pistol and Rifle Schools”, “Officer Survival Schools”, “Active-Shooter Schools”, “Methamphetamine Awareness Seminars”, and “Hidden Compartment Schools” for Law Enforcement Officers & Military Operatives throughout the United States, Iraq, and Afghanistan. To date, he has personally trained more than 23,000 municipal, county, state, military, Department of State, and Federal Officers.

He has conducted the research and established the written Policy and Procedures Manual (or Standard Operating Procedure Manuel) for Police and Sheriff’s Offices in Georgia, Florida, and Alabama. He has also acted as a Consultant for many other law enforcement agencies and private security firms during the past 19 years. In addition, Chief Ingram helped pioneer new training techniques that has been credited for the seizure of millions of dollars in narcotics, illegal currency and stolen property and for saving numerous law enforcement officers lives.

Chief Ingram has received numerous “outstanding officer” awards and “letters of commendation” throughout his career including a “Letter of Recognition” from the President of the United States, George W. Bush, in 2004 for his efforts in the war on drugs within the Southeast United States and was nominated for the Georgia Governor’s Award in 2001 for Municipal Police Officer of the Year in the State of Georgia.

Chief Ingram was also awarded the Law Enforcement “Silver Star” for Bravery and the “Medal of Honor” (for responding to a call where two officers had been shot, one killed and one seriously injured, on April 24, 2009 and taking aggressive action to immediately incapacitate the shooter and then render life-saving medical aid to the wounded officer).

He is also a State and Federal Court “certified expert witness” on such topics as the use of deadly force, drug K-9’s, and criminal enforcement and interdiction techniques.
